School Counseling
We are thrilled to welcome you to the Aubrey Rogers High School Counseling Department! As the counselors for your child's educational journey, we are here to provide support, guidance, and resources to help your child succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
At Aubrey Rogers High School, we believe that a strong partnership between parents, students, staff and the counseling department is essential for student success. We encourage open communication and collaboration to ensure that your child's needs are met effectively.
Our team is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment where all students can thrive. We are here to assist your child in setting and achieving academic goals, navigating career exploration, managing social and emotional challenges, and planning for post-secondary options. In addition to individual counseling, we also offer small group, classroom presentations, and workshops on a variety of topics such as financial aid and scholarships, academic planning, and college and career readiness. We are also available to provide resources and referrals for community support services when needed.
We look forward to working together with you to support your child's academic and personal growth during their time at Aubrey Rogers High School. Please feel free to contact us at any time to schedule an appointment or discuss any concerns you may have.

SAT & ACT
SAT and ACT are two separate private companies that offer similar tests that are used for college entrance, bright futures qualification, and concordant scores to meet the FSA graduation requirement.
All juniors should take an ACT or SAT or both during the second semester. Sophomores who are considering dual enrollment should take an ACT or SAT or both during the second semester.
Fee waivers are available for SAT and/or ACT for juniors and seniors who are approved for free or reduced lunch. Students can obtain a waiver in the Guidance office during lunch time.
